This is basically an extended edition of all the flashback scenes from the main series, as well as some extra scenes from that time period. Although it’s labeled episode 00, I don’t actually recommend watching it first.

This adapts the chapter of the manga immediately after where the anime ends, so it’s quite literally just episode 13. I highly recommend watching this if you liked the series as it’s really good.

As I’m just now catching up, Fune wo Amu ep8, 12:30
She says “I’d try to avoid […] but it’s not like you could manage it”. I understand perfectly the intent behind the translation, but I had to reread the two lines to get it; I think it can be easily misunderstood like this. Maybe just “You should better try to avoid […]” would be easier to understand, it’s a long line anyway.
Then again, my petty nitpicking is pointless, nobody would bother patching this up one more time.
