Why do you not care if we don’t watch your subs?

Some. Some fansubbers have their egos tickled by the amount of downloads they get, or the number of people idling in their channel. As stated above, we’re content with knowing that we have the best release, number of leechers be damned.
This means you take your time with everything, right? A week per episode? More?
Nah. Usually ≤12 hours or so to release. If the shit hits the fan, start praying that it sees the light of day, though.
You guys sound awesome, how do I join?
We’re usually recruiting at the beginning and end of a season (and we’re obvious about it most of the time), but if you’re a translator, just pop on in. If you want to just come chat with us, #commie-subs@irc.rizon.net is the place to go (or click the IRC link at the top there).

Many of your videos get corrupted during the anime for short periods of time. I’ve downloaded the same anime(s) from other fansubs and it works properly there.
