Ah well. I considered the possibility that the creators had decided to use SERN, but if it’s been written out in Roman letters at any point in the anime so far I missed it.
And given that all of the projects (Large Hadron Collider) and issues (the mini-black hole fuss) clearly identify the organization as CERN, the repetition of SERN was ticking me off.
But it seems my annoyance should be directed elsewhere. Thanks for the info. And thanks to Commie for the releases.
You guys are doing a great job, except for one thing;
The blinking effect on the karaoke is a little too much and painful on the eyes, I understand you’re trying to match the actual staff listing’s animation, but it would be better if it’s not blinking at all.

I believe they use SERN because CERN is a registered Trademark just like Google or YouTube, so they can’t use it freely.
