See, I told ya.
This Inaho kid is mix between Lulu and Sestuna/Heero/Homura.
Now, I’m worried about the next episode since Urobutcher left it to his scriptwriters and the Director for the rest of the series run.

The explanation of the machine’s barrier raises a question for me: If the barrier absorbs all form of waves and matter etc, wouldn’t that mean the machine would be invisible because light rays don’t deflect off it??? I thought objects are visible because they all deflect light??? I know it’s anime but I’m just wondering if I got my facts on visibility straight.
Think of it this way: Urobuchi’s writing.
You’re almost right. He wouldn’t be invisible but completely black. And his weak spot would propably be easy to spot, but shhh ;)
And visible objects don’t defect all light that’s why we see colors :)
It might be that the barrier itself is made to emit light wave in that purple color to hide its true nature from the enemy.
The transition between being shot and the barrier being removed showed the barrier turned completely black so Urobuchi might’ve thought that out.
ha ha. i typed a similar query in the wrong episode.
Intense episode and great bgm! I think MC has something screw loose, but that make it interesting!
