      Ending to this was 10x better than the retarded ending that F/Z had. And what’s that, a sympathetic villain? Who’s well referenced to boot? What did F/Z have again? Oh, yeah, a cardboard cutout who was well voice acted, but bad because he was bad and had daddy issues.

      Also, holy shit, strong female characters who aren’t cliched to fuck and have more than two dimensions! Be careful with Saber, she’s written so thin you’ll get a paper cut.

      Fair call that Madoka was good. Shallower than this, but with more emotional punch.

        If you think Makishima’s throwing out a literary reference every five minutes, then not doing anything philosophically productive or useful with that reference is deeper than Kirei and Gilgamesh’s excruciatingly in-depth conversations regarding hedonism, then you misunderstood both sections.

        Actually, it’s funny that you mention strong female characters. Who were those again? Akane who goes with the flow and is miss innocent? The two lesbians who exist to provide fanservice? Saber and Irisveil both had interesting reasons for why they existed and acted the way they did.

        The biggest reason why Psycho-Pass was fail was because they never bothered discussing whether Sibyl was ethical or not. They just kinda through it out there and pretended they had explained it was evil.

          If a series needs to explain every little single shit, it’s bad.

          I _especially_ liked how PP just put Sybil out there and did show how it was bettering the world *on one level* while it also made life horrible *on other levels* and left the audience/me to build their own opinion about it.

    I don’t know what I was expecting, but this ending seemed really lackluster. It gave me the feeling that if it had another season or more continuing episodes, it could have had a better ending. IMO what we got was really fucking fantastic. Thanks for the subs!

    Thanks for subbing guys! And I’m wondering because I don’t really read that much manga…will we see more PSYCHO-PASS? It said “SIByL still continues…” which makes me think there will be more of this series or it’s just stating that SIByL will continue to live…? Or something like that… >.>
