The ending was not as hellish as some people who got to read the LN first described it, especially the conclusion

I had thought that too, RIIIIGHT up until you read about all the fucked up shit she did to try and twist Kyouske’s personality, and her scorched earth policy on all the other girls. She was damn near a comic book villain.
Should have gone with a harem end. ^^

Expected a lot worse but I’m happy. Ended how it should. Manami out of nowhere.
Kinda disappointed that they never showed Sakurai. It would have at least justified Kirino’s hate towards Manami a lot more. The way the anime did it made Manami look more like a victim than a villain and Kirino look more like a villain than a victim.
Seriously! Though even if they had, Kirino TOTALLY had that fucking sucker punch coming for acting like a spoiled little shit.

Ugh, I guess I can stomach that… they tried their best to redeem the ending. Kuroneko deserved so much better than Kyosuke, that piece of shit… Toying with her heart for a fucking game!

Minami, what a bitch! Way to break the sterotype though, that was imaginative. At least Kuroneko got him back with those loudspeakers, so I didn’t feel as bad about the stuff with her. Besides, that drawing of hers, with the three together, not to mention she always knew who Kyousuke would pick, anyways. Kinda set herself up.
Kyousuke’s “okay yeah whatev’s” attitude to what Kirino suggested in the hotel made me really mad.
I supposed the heavenly church scene (kinda) made up for it. (Insert squee and tears of joy.)
But goddammit the end still made me mad.
I love kirino, and I love the way she acts. Who cares, it’s just a 2d waifu.

Glad this got popular and all, but if it didn’t, we wouldn’t have ending a shit, and would have been more likely to have Complete Kirino Ending.
It was the exact ending I wanted. All the way until after the kiss. Even if Fushimi said that they’re still together, it doesn’t change what actually happened.
Pretty disappointing with the “full” ending which seems to happen in everything (Except Yosuga no Sora?).
Overall, loved the series.
