Did you really expect this show to break the Nakamura Curse? The man consistently makes the wildest, most entertainingly intelligent anime around… and then when he reaches the final episode it’s like his meninges suddenly rupture, all his brains fall out through his mouth and, white matter dripping from that artsy little goatee, he looks around in complete bewilderment at the stunned staff members surrounding him as his suddenly ovine eyes silently plead, “what… what was I supposed to be doing again?”
I may have an overactive imagination. I still love Nakamura (and I admit not all his endings are utterly unbearable); I just think it’s a little sad that he’ll never be able to top his performance in episode 10 of Kemonozume.
You may be aware that Symphogear is stalled at the translator which obviously holds up the other roles. You may also notice that this show is never stalled at the translator since the translator is Crunchyroll. I hope you can figure out why your complaint is silly.
So this was an anime about Hajime who was evil…this was the reason why she could never see katze and also why we see her chest (heart) in the last few mins of the anime…
You know at the end of ep 11, I was thinking that this anime would have more than 12 eps. Great and fun anime, shitty end. Nothing new from the Japanese side.
I was confused about the ending too. I couldn’t tell if we were supposed to believe that:
Katze was imprisoned in : her ribbon, her body, her bra, or none of the above…
Herkz, what is your favorite anime…? Or what would /you/ recommend for next season?
I’d be interested in hearing them from such an established gentleperson as yourself…
i’d recommend watching heartcatch
I recommend this recommendation.
Oh well… thanks so much for all your hard work on this series! It was a fun time killer!
Can’t wait to see what you guys do next!
Pretty lame.
Agreed, a rather disappointing ending. The biggest disappointment was the lack of, or poorly done, closure regarding the characters. Oh well.

I dunno, I think he could’ve ended this just fine with a little more time. It was pretty close.
Dammit, i wish your fast staff liked symphogear :(
And this gachaman ending….what the hell were they thinking!!!

Thanks for subbing it, commies.

I don’t think the ending dealt with the characters appropriately, but the whole CROWDS situation? Turning it into a game was a great move.
