If you have DivX player installed, Uninstall it, and see if that fixes it (it DID for ME)…
There’s a long-standing BUG in Divx Player’s support files (especially DivxPropertyHandler.dll and DivxThumbnailProvider.dll)… :(
You DON’T need DivX player if you’re using VLC or MPC (or even WMP) with a decent Codec Pack installed… I’m partial to CCCP myself (but that’s just MY opinion.) ;) There are several choices out there. :)

IMHO, Forcing the CRC by “padding” the file with extra null bits probably kicked off the latent explorer bug in DivX… ALL the other Commie subs so far are perfectly fine, but LH#12 [DA7ABA5E] specifically blew up Windows7 Explorer every time for me until I removed the DivX player app (which I really didn’t use anyway)… :/
(This also has been reported to happen with some files made with Makemkv as well, for some reason or other…) :P

I’m getting the same problem too. When I open just the FOLDER it’s in my explorer crashes. Also 50% of my files are in that folder.

Update: Turns out it was DivxPropertyHandler.dll messing with it, so I just moved the file to the recycling bin and the episode played fine!
