If you’re open to feedback, let me say that I used to follow 80% of ongoing series that I like from Commie until last year but now it’s down to just Space Bros because of this reason.
It would be pretty dumb to make our encodes look worse for everyone just to cater to a small minority of users who either can’t afford HDD space or have arbitrary limits on how big a TV encode “should” be.
People still have bandwidth restrictions in the 21st century? Stop using terrible ISPs then.
And I don’t care how big the encode is or how long it takes since Commie is the only group not doing an absolute shit job, which happens once in a blue moon.
I live in Australia and I don’t give a shit, so not really. Even back when I was on 60GB a month it was more than enough to download all the anime I watched regardless of size, and these days most plans offer you at least 200.

I think it’s more of a bandwith issue than it is disk space though: you can just erase it afterwardsa anyway. Not my case either way.
