Probably because l and r are the same sound in Japan and they can’t end their words in consonants so they add u to the end of an l/r.
This why Al, is clearly pronounced Alu in FMP.

Well, it’s “Abdul” in manga, and “Avdol” in CR translation… dunno which one is correct.

Avdol is the official translation from the english manga release, so we went with that

I see people in my school using WMP if on Windows 7 or the Video metro app if on Windows 8. If not either of those, then they’re using VLC.
It doesn’t matter what player they use anyway because they stream all their TV shows and movies on shitty quality streaming sites, so… yeah.

That might be true on a grammatical level but it doesn’t apply to names herukuzu-kun.
it applies to everything. toei for instance usually has extremely horrible official translations of names in precure.

I was actually still pointing to Holy (which is Holly in the english releases). Even in this ep theres that long joke about her using the Japanese version of Holy instead of the English one.
