so is this shit any good?
watching this coz it has the same seiyuu as geass and (especially) Holo (Horo if you prefer it that way)
and coz Commie rocks for doing tons of show every season :)

You know what? Each season anime releases becoming lamer and lamer. It’s hard to find those hidden gems as they reuse the same genre/ploy to attract anime goers. Maybe I’m getting too old for this…
Next season is lookin pretty good, Ore no Imouto S2, Yahari looks pretty good, Date a live might be ok (started reading the books after all the hype i heard…meh) and new seasons of Fate/, Monogatari and Haiyore.

I have seen similar stuff, but only in western fiction, and in a very little quantity. Also, what I have seen in western fiction didn’t try to play all the cliches possible, by simply labeling the characters by their profession.
I hope it does. I will keep it in my “3-strike episode”. If it fails to compel me to watch the next episode, I’m sure I’ll drop it. Really, Winter releases look kinda lame for me.

Seeing how the anime is called “Maoyuu Maou Yuusha” it make sense that they went for the manga artsyle that is also called “Maoyuu Maou Yuusha”.
Not the one you posted, that properly most people know of or are currently reading: Maoyuu Maou Yuusha – “Kono Watashi no Mono Tonare, Yuusha yo” “Kotowaru!”
You must be kidding, right? They just went for the original novel designs. Which said manga used too. And are inferior to Kotowaru!
The manga’s story is based on the light novel. The anime’s designs are based on the light novel.

Yet another anime with Fukuyama Jun voicing the main character :D (Yes the posters above seem to know him from Spice and Wolf as Lawrence, but he also did epicness with Lelouch, Ryner – Densetsu, Aoi Toori – Horizon and last season’s awesome Chu2Koi as Togashi Yuuta + more). Here’s hoping they don’t blow the anime like Densetsu did with crappy ending and too much misplaced dango gags and flashbacks.

im disapointed with this anime the animators were slack the demon queen, dragon princess and femail wizard look alot hotter in the manga even the hero looks kinda stuped they should have made the chars look a little closer to how they are in the manga prob gonna stop watching this i just dont like how they changed thier look sooo much
You won’t stop watching. The fact that you have even seen the manga suggests you will watch the show.

all be it there is a few manga that i would love to have them released as a anime…
but not unless they are gonna do a decent job on the animation this show kinda seems somthing like an american cartoon style rather then anime….
