I believe the Zhar battalion did managed to hunt and destroy all the remaining Laser-class before the mysterious TSF (probably the Idar piloted by the Scarlet Twins) tying up the loose ends for Comrade Sandek. Well, Lt. Col. Latrova would meet her demise at the end of the arc as the flashback of her son got taken way by the Soviet as a blackmail already raised the death flag for her.
Most probably they are test-tube babies/clones (if Cryska sudden “mood swings” and her close attachment with her “little sister” are an indication) they are far easier to receive and execute any orders without questioning them.
Also, forgot to mention- Inia is related to one of the major characters in Muv-Luv Unlimited/Alternative, that person being named Trista Sestina. However they are never referred to by that name outside of MLA Chronicles; Rebirth.
I think Cryska is brainwashed after her episodes.. she forgets everything that happened. I expect the episodes is probably from the brainwashing treatments.
