      Considering this is condensing at least 4 of 5 chapters (Chapter 5 was the OVA ep from Season 1) from the fourth light novel I don’t think this is plot less. Season 1 Followed pretty well the first 3 LN save for the epilogue for 3 where the actual pilot for the unarmed unit they fought thanks Ichika for stopping it.

        I think Katawa Shoujo being inspired by the Muv Luv harem routes.

        At least IS doesn’t deal with humanity struggle against relentless aggressor and threat of humanity in brink of extinction (like in Extra).
