Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 01
i wasn’t gonna sub this but it turns out the CGI is a lot less bad than i was expecting. also, netflix’s subs are extremely good so i barely have to do anything, especially since it doesn’t look like there will be much typesetting after this episode.
thankfully the official lyrics for the OP and ED are already out because despite being in english, neither are super easy to understand.
1080p only for hopefully obvious reasons.

i wanted to release this like a month ago, but the weekly episodes being such a pain in the ass killed all my desire to touch this show. oh well. what’s done is done.
also, as you may’ve noticed, the second volume is already out, so i’ll start on that next. whether it’s the next thing i release depends on if i get tired of working on the same anime for like a month straight or not.

in case you’ve been living under a rock or something and haven’t heard, this show is taking a break for 3 months and the final 12 episodes will start airing in july.
also, i’ll be releasing a batch in a few days because of the long break.

i wanted to sub the BDs for this season since it wouldn’t be much work compared to season 1 and 2, but sadly it doesn’t seem like anyone is buying/uploading them. oh well. normally in this case i’d make patches with the actual changes, but they’re so minor (mostly just updating the previews and song translations for consistency) that it doesn’t seem worth it for 50 episodes. i’ll just hope the BDs are uploaded someday. then i can make the actual fixes to the subs.
but hey, at least i know i can still sub a year-long show without any real delays.
