GG does seem to liberal in their translation, but hey there is still other groups: Prism, aRK, Hatsuyuki, and … well Horriblesubs. In the case of Prism and Hatsuyuki, they are both slow(2 eps)but I’d say Prism is closest to Commie’s translation.

As for the backlog, I really hope you guys will finish it, if you can. I’m especially looking forward to those 2 final Natsu no Arashi episodes (I really hope I don’t have watch HorribleSubs or do my own encodes of it!). I’m also waiting on the final 3 episodes of Durarara and on those 2 last episodes of Koihime.
I actually expected 2 more shows would be dropped as they already have fine enough subs (Kuroshitsuji II from SHS and Shiki from umee), however oversubbing does no-one harm, and having more options is always good.
I’m not surprised you’re not picking up Mitsudomoe, as I haven’t started watching it because I still haven’t found a good enough group to watch it from, but I never expected Commie to pick it up anyway.

The initial ep4 MQ release was a special case. As mentioned on my site, I was out of town from Thursday to Sunday, and thus I wouldn’t have been able to work out my intended release schedule (release in 24 hours after Tokyo MX airing).
I tried to get my hands on a TVS .ts, but couldn’t manage to do that, so I used the CR encode to put out an early release to compensate for the actual release being delayed by a couple of days.
This week there’s nothing to stop me from working out my intended release schedule, so there won’t be any MQ releases to do, and most likely they won’t happen ever again.
On the backlog, I hope you continue to release Heroman- because Horrible subs is, well… you know. Your video quality, typesetting, and quality checking makes your product far superior. Thanks for your hard work!
