You should be using mpv on Linux. There’s no reason to ever use VLC and we don’t support it either. In fact, something breaking on VLC is actually a bit of a bonus.
(P.S. Linux is not an acronym. Don’t write it in all caps.)
Interested in what the technical encoding or muxing change was with the audio in this ep (if any.) No probs with any current players with the file, just curious.
Nothing different on our end. The problem is the source as about 5 seconds before the show starts airing on MBS, the audio changes from mono to stereo on the fly which kind of breaks things.
Audio breaks up when played with VLC 2.1.5 on Windows 7
Good. Don’t use VLC.
I use VLC so I can check compatibility with my friends LINUX based media center. VLC is the default player for LINUX based systems…
Also, earlier episode releases did not have this issue with VLC, so something must have changed in the Audio with Episode 5

yeah what ever, nerd.
There’s no need to be upset.
Unless you are referring to Hibiki’s and Kosaka’s outfits, they are just horrid.
As UNIX refers to the trademark of unix currently held by “the open group”, it could be applied to linux as well, no matter its many forks.
I’m sorry, what the fuck? Don’t you fucking accuse any GUI application as the “default” anything on “LINUX based systems,” faggot. Especially not VLC.
>implying there’s a default media player for all Linux OSes
Just no.

Interesting, thanks!
