Why did you use TokyoMX instead of CR as the video source?
If you havent compared them, you should do it. CR’s definitely looks better.
CR’s 1080p actually looks REALLY good. I would even go so far to say that it yields a slight improvement over the 720p. Lines are impressively crisp, considering this is some TV anime.
the answer is i didn’t even check because in the past 100% of the time for tv tokyo shows CR’s video looks a lot worse since they basically have to encode from the same source we do and yeah, they do a worse job. then we encode from their video? it’d be like encoding it ourselves then using the encode as the source for a second encode.
i could be wrong here, but it’s extremely unlikely
Then i guess this marks the beginning of the end of that 100%. CR’s 1080p is really good in this case, the difference between tvtokyo becomes clear when you compare scenes with a lot of movement like in the opening
