Chihayafuru 2 BD Volume 1
Doing 12 episodes at once instead of 2 or 3 is a lot of work. Anyway, this probably isn’t perfect, but I’ve spent enough time trying to perfect it. It should be considerably better than the TV release, at the very least. There are quite a lot of consistency fixes in the script, lots of typesetting redone, and the video looks much better.
Volume 2 won’t be out for a while, mostly because I want to do some other BDs first. Next is probably Teekyuu S2.

It’s Teekyuu after all. You will be done before you even know it.
i wish. unfortunately the audio sync is really messed up so it can take a while to get right (and that’s before i even do anything else)
Any plans on releasing BD versions of the first season?
Unless herkz can source the BDs, at this point, it is unlikely.
I thought Zurako did a decent job already, but if you really want the BDs for the first season I can rip them from my personal collection.
I seriously doubt Zakuro fixed anything. Their encode may be fine, but there’s a lot wrong with the subs. The first few episodes weren’t even edited by the same person. I’m pretty sure they forgot the italics version of the dialogue font too.
And Taichi is still called “eyebrows” in Zuroko’s version.

It’d be really easy to download them.
The problem is it’d be way more work. I’d basically have to redo the subs.
I already downloaded season 1 from Zurako, although I really would prefer if I get the BD versions from you guys.
Man, I wish you guys would release more BD versions. I hate having to resort to downloading from CG or doki just to get the BD versions. It’s so hard to find good BD release groups nowadays. Thora is very selective, ANE is gone, NPC is gone, DHD uses the old yellow font for their subs.
I downloaded Hyouka 1080p from CG and they used Mazui subs and when I watched it, i realized Mazui’s subs sucks big time. That’s why i was ok with Zurako since they used commie subs.
Maybe someday when you guys have more staff to help out, you guys can start releasing more BD versions, and hopefully one of them will be s1 of chihayafuru.

We usually do BDs for a show if the people who worked on the show liked it enough to do the BDs.
We didn’t do Hyouka because none of us really liked it.
