It’s 5.1 audio. I’m guessing you have headphones or something and it’s downmixing it to 2.0 weird. Probably want to try messing with the mixing settings until it sounds less weird.
It has 6000 downloads and I haven’t seen anyone else complain.
In any case, there is nothing I can do about the audio. I don’t know if you know how encoding works, but we losslessly trim the audio to remove the commercials. Needless to say, we couldn’t have accidentally fucked it up since the audio is literally the exact same thing as was aired over TV. So yeah, if it doesn’t work, I don’t know what to say because I can’t do anything to “fix” it.
Not trying to pile-on but I too am having audio issues. VLC was not playing the voices but Plex seems to be doing so though the voices seem to be fading in and out. I haven’t been having problems with any other file. Also, I am using a mac. I only mention that to say that it is affecting both platforms (I believe someone mentioned that they used a windows specific playback program so I just assumed that they were using PC).
Noted. I just wanted to let you know that Psycho-Pass seems to be playing without problems in VLC (as have been the countless other files from Commie). I might strip the audio, reprocess it and remux the file and see if that does anything. Thanks for the subbing by the way. You guys do a good job!!!!
There is problem with audio. I don’t know much about coding, encoding and codec but Voice channel (front center) is very quiet after going through mixer to 2.0 speakers.
If you want to fix this go in MPC to Play => Filters => AC3Filter
In Main tab set Stereo.
In Mixer tab set Voice slider to higher level. Playing with Input gains sliders in Input Tab may also help.
And VLC can’t even handle audio as it’s intermittent.
Based Commie
Ahh, time for the latest episode of Space Dandy.
Intend to pick up all the animes of the season is?! ‘-
Are you gonna sub Psycho pass 2?
I do believe it’s on showtimes, so…
Something is wrong with audio. It should be 5.1, but MPC show stereo.
it is 5.1 even if mpc says it’s stereo
>Not Bahamut Onslaught
Dropped
What’s going on with the subtitles track?
I wanted to change a few things but Aegisub won’t open it.
The audio is kinda glitching and going in and out.

I’m not using headphones. I’m using my computer’s speakers and the audio cuts in and out, and I can barely hear the voices most of the time.
Massive audio problems. sound dropping in and out, audio tracks missing. No one is speaking when there are subs going on.
the audio is fine
No, it isn’t. I tried every possible audio setting in VLC, MPC and even windows media player and nothing could make proper audio occur.
yes, it is. your system probably just does something weird since it’s 5.1 audio.
Same problem as Void, I don’t know what’s wrong with this .-.
Given the number of people having trouble I think your system is the one that is weird in that it plays without problems.
because most people are idiots and can’t figure out how to configure things to playback properly

Massive audio problems in VLC.
Audio disappears and after a restart no voices. Mplayer seems to be doing the job…
(OSX)
WHAT SHOULD I WATCH OMG I NEED HELP!

well vlc is still not recommended even on a mac. mpv is the recommended player.

that’s because other shows like psycho-pass do not have 5.1 audio. this is the only show with 5.1 audio in fact.
But Horriblesubs’ rendition of this episode works just fine, while your version has audio issues for me as well.
Yes, because their audio is from Funi and our audio is from the TV broadcast.

I hope some groups translate this title to Attack On Bahamut.
We did in this episode but don’t expect it to stay around.
Definitely some major audio issues here. Audio keeps clipping.
Horriblesubs’ version works just fine, so it must be on your end. You guys should look into this by the time episode 2 airs.
But we aren’t using the same source as what HS ripped from for the audio (or video).
