See where I’m going here? Actually, even without all the French in the show and the setting being a proper academy (AKA context), it’s still a valid translation.
you’re letting Magenta down (he says despite knowing that he fixed all those for GoBus because mag couldn’t be arsed to get compose key running) do you want to make Mazentan cry?
I initially thought it might have referred to antique-style perfume bottles that used those squeezable puffy things as atomizers, but it turns out that those are called “bulbs” and not “puffs.” I’m not opposed to a powderpuff reference, but the only gimmick toy I know of is the perfume, so we have to assume her name is a reference to that. Perf’s name is パフ, perfume is called パフューム. It fits too perf-ectly for me to justify any other options, as much as it pains me.
Oh, I was aware her name is Pafu, I pretty much associate her design with that of one of those make-up powder puffs. But, different strokes for different folks. xD

please, it’s très bien in the episode. i’m just too lazy to type it like that here.
>airco: And on that day, we agreed to never sub a 50 episode children’s show again.
So much for that lol. Jokes aside, thanks for picking this up airco and herkz. Lets hope its not as bad as doki doki.
airco decided to save the people from doremi once again
Just a heads up, the dog/fairy is actually named Puff. Loved your script though.
No, the official name is “Pafu”. Anything else is just a fan interpretation.
Unfortunately, this. My gut wants to go with Puff, but I can’t justify it the way I can with Perf{ume}.
A puff of perfume, from a spray bottle.
Yeah, except that’s based on nothing. A “Puff” in Japanese refers to these.

No, it’s Pafu. I’m guessing it’s from for Japanese say “perfume”: pa-fu-mu.

A new non-important lines missed:
06:30.218: She’s so cute.
11:52.262: Let’s get out of here!
oops :^)
I found how to make this show 10/10
just replace any instance of “princess” in the subtitles with “Nonoriri”.
