when someone translates the songs
Any plans for the Haikyuu!! recap movies, the Jump Festa Specials and the Picture Drama episodes?
No to all of the above, though I’d like to translate the OVA if a translator ever wants to do so.
I hope that someone does volunteer for the job. The OVA is one of the Jump Festa specials right? Will you be using the Sentai Filmworks BDs for the upcoming episodes?
Also, on a side note I wanted to quote that I’m in the process of pre-bying the Re:ROAD movie next month at the latest. I just hope that you can find all the other necessary ISOs you’ll need for the Yowapeda S2 episodes, movie, extras-specials etc. that you’ll decide to do and upload.

Someone is buying the episodes for me, but I don’t know about the rest yet. Then again, anything I do with those would be a long way off.

Please tell me you’re editing them quite a bit because I have Haikyuu!!’s BD and Sentai’s subs are not very good. There’s a lot of overtranslation and awkward dialogue in there. My biggest gripe would be the translating of “Seijou” to “Blue Castle”. So dumb and unnecessary.
Yes, they have their issues too, but the translation is actually pretty accurate unlike the subs on CR. I can’t overstate how wrong CR’s subs are. Literally (and I do mean literally) about half the lines are wrong.
Fair enough. But you are editing Sentai’s subs a bit, right?
I’m editing them a lot of course. It’s worth it though because the subs aren’t completely mistranslated.

Well, I would feel a lot more relieved if I knew that you had the sources you’ll need for the series. So if it’s not too much a pain in the ass job, could you tell me your plans for Yowamushi one of these days? Meaning what you want to do/include for your complete project at this point?
Well, I’m not exactly sure yet. It depends on if I can find a translator to do any of the extra stuff.

Personally, I’m always more worried on finding the sources rather the people to work on it. Can I assume that you already have a translator(s) for the Re:RIDE and Special Ride OVA? If that’s the case can I still assume that the same translator(s) would be willing to work on Re:ROAD? If that’s the case again then we still need a translator and a source for the movie right? If that’s not the case would you like me to ask people if they would be willing to translate for the Yowapeda project?
Well, there’s always the person that TLCed the show. I know he really likes it so he might do it eventually if he stops being lazy.
That’s an encouraging thought! :) I really hope so too. Now, that a S3 is coming out, the franchise just keeps getting bigger and bigger so it would be a good thing if you could try to finish previous adaptations. Anyway, since you put Haikyuu!! on priority for now I don’t want to confuse you with Yowapeda. We can talk about this better if you can when you’re done with S1 of Haikyuu!! Like I said expect some updates on Re:ROAD by next month! :) Thanks again herkz!
