    I don’t want to be that nitpicker, but one does not simply “commiserate me.” It’s grammatically wrong, but also it doesn’t fit in the context. Suggest you replace it with “pity” (all 3 times). “Feel sorry for,” would also work if it needs to be wordier.

      are you dumb? she says pity in the previous line but uses a different word, so we can’t use pity there.

      also, the dictionary seems to think it can be both a transitive and intransitive verb, so i’m pretty sure you’re wrong.

        There may be more ways to say something in Japanese than there are English equivalents. I’ve heard that Eskimos have hundreds of words for snow.

        It sounded grammatically wrong to me, without “with,” but I won’t fight about it. Thanks again.

        I’ll not dispute Mrs. Shelley’s florid prose, as to the grammar.

        The context seemed wrong, though, since Oikura was actively denying her misery, which should make it impossible to commiserate with her, since commiseration is something done together.

        But that’s enough of what I think. Despite my niggling, I really like your work.
