Haikyuu!! To The Top BD Volume 1
This is encoded from the Japanese BDs, not the US BDs, because yes, someone finally started uploading them at the same time years after they came out. Hopefully they continue or I’ll have to switch to the US BDs instead. And speaking of encoding, besides the usual stuff, the BDs for this season had a lot of noise that I’m pretty sure the previous seasons didn’t. I decided to denoise the encode because it reduced the filesize by more than 50% (my first 1080p encode of episode 1 was 2gb) for almost no visual difference. If you’re really bothered by this, I’m sure there will be same massive encodes that retained this “detail.”

the video quality is probably better since the japanese BD has more bitrate (and sentai’s BDs definitely aren’t known for their video quality). no other differences though.
