There’s a mistranslation in BakaTest 4. It says “Could you please return to your class now, Himeji?” when that’s not what they said at all. That translation implies Himeji was not in Class F anymore.
I think that’s what the translator was thinking too when he translated that line.
Well, just to clarify, she is still in class F. The audio mentions Class A, referring to the students of Class A and not the classroom itself, ie Shouko and Aiko. From what I heard, I think a better translation would be something along the lines of the teacher saying that Himeji and Class A would not be taking part in the experiment. Sorry if that is what you implied in your post.

It have different names in the different countries, not even only “Bullshit” and “I doubt it”. For them it’s doubt it and it’s sound really stupid when they say clearly “Doubt” and it’s translated as “Bullshit”.
It’s like the wrong translation of “Go to Hell!” in Gintama that was turned into “Son of bitch!”

We call it “Cheat” in Canada. As wikipedia states, it’s other names include:
Bluff, BS, Bologna, Bible Study, Challenge, No Way, Liar, Bus Stop, I don’t think so, Bull, Cooner, and Shredder.
There’s so much variation, no translation is going to appease everyone, but I assume the translater localized it to the one he was familiar with.

Sure. There’s minimal typesetting shifting involved, which is the biggest reason of why we don’t do BDs for many series.

is anyone have problem with baka to test ep 4? mine show bad pixelation, as if the file slightly corrupted

Having trouble playing Dantalian.
Image freezes but the audio continues. Just did a fresh install of windows and not sure if it’s a setting I messed up in CCCP when I reinstalled.
Did you install DirectX?
Ok it’s something to do with DXVA, playing with the filters allowed me to either have video but no subtitles or subtitles and audio but with a frozen video, see it does this one some other video files now too dammit.
And I spammed for nothing, got it working, thanks anyway!
