Why not just supplying an xdelta, or, putting the ttf into the mkv? Oh right, ya forgot to put it into, implying you are to lazy to do it afterwards and make a v2 release, implying you are to lazy to create an xdelta. Thanks, anyway.

    is this Hi10P?
it would be awesome if you guys can put the encoding info (mostly bitrates).

It would be super badass if you guys can do 5.1 FLAC, DTS-HD MA, or Dolby Digital – TrueHD for the audio.

Thanks guys. Keep up the good work.

Yes, as is everything we do.
Bitrates and encode settings can be found in the file itself (hint: shift+f10 in mpc-hc).
As for audio, I’ll pretend I didn’t read anything past FLAC, and then answer that lossless audio with lossy video is stupid and that if you really want lossless, you buy the BD. Lossless audio is warranted in very specific cases, this not being one of them. However, these represent only my views and not those of the encoder, so basically the answer is I don’t know.

there is barely even music. nothing better than q0.5 aac is warranted

    • Fleppensteyn says:

Not from Commie, but I would like to give you an idea of bit rates and file size.
I think the source audio for this movie is 16-bit 5.1 for about 90 mins.
The current 5.1 AAC track in the 1080p is around 312MB.
A flac track for this would be around 1GB which is half of the file size of the 1080p encode.
You probably won’t notice much of a difference even if you get the source audio track to compare it.
The rest of the bitrate goes into video, which actually means that even though this is a 2GB encode of a movie, the quality is pretty decent.
The bloat gets even worse for 24-bit 5.1, which is about 2GB for 90 mins.
That’s bigger than the entire video track of this release.
