This forced meme needs to die.
/a/ loves forced memes though
> Wanting untouched CR subs
No thanks.
Not just that, but on worse video (CR’s video is by far the best video source for this show).
CR is shit tier still. I mean shit tier is the ok tier from like 6 years ago but still that’s not saying much.
That’s because the subs are done by Aniplex, who apparently fired all their good translators.
Forced whining, fucking /a/
more please, force feeding is my fetish
don’t feed the trolls.
why not
Forced fansubbing is killing anime
Why don’t you just call it ERASED?
you clearly have not actually watched our subs
They’d have to pay duplex royalties so it’s a no go.
I am cool with what ever you do commie. I love you.
Forced TS… I didn’t think we’d live to see this.
Need moar of this kind of post. Good stuff.
Can someone explain to me, whats “forced typesetting” means? i’m no nativ or so, so the word typesetting in combination with forced give me a bit of a hard time.
I have no idea.
Maybe is typset everywhere?
idk.
Clearly they must see every sign in its native Japanese.
Probably.
Anime was a mistake.
I was wondering if there is any meaning behind the way you guys translated Satoru’s and his friends’ way to say goodbye to each-other. Like, what does “ta-ta” even mean?
Firstly, “Ta-ta!” is a somewhat common saying in English for “goodbye.” Secondly, it’s because the characters speak in the Hokkaido dialect. This has to be conveyed in some way because it’s actually important to the show. Thirdly, all the stuff with their Hokkaido dialect was actually done by the simulcast subs we’re using (which is not CR/Aniplex)! I know, it’s hard to believe professional subbers would put that amount of effort into the show, but it happened. I see no reason we’d remove that information and make the subs more boring.
Oh, I see. No surprise I didn’t know about that way of saying goodbye, as English is not my mother tongue. Thanks for taking the time to explain~
