Delays + Releases
Sorry about the delays. Doesn’t look like they’ll be resolved soon, our editor is still missing (and by missing we mean he’s moving for school and will be back soon). We’re trying to work it out.

So what specifically is being delayed and how long do you guys reckon these delays will last?
I mean obviously LolHeroes is being set back but that’s the only thing I watch from you guys, but what about everything else other people wait for?
Or is it the same editor who works on everything (I must admit I oretty much know nothing about your group’s staff :v)
Well, we have a few ppl that can edit, but eathon does most of the work and he’s gone so all shows will suffer. We’re trying to fix it by getting new ppl to edit.
As long as you guys are on it then : )

What is the point in stating something you can not do?
Do you really think someone would consider you after you said everything you _can’t_ do?
I can translate, edit, encode. I even have friends in Japan and could get a raw first hand, but i would never say something I can not do, that’s just stupid.
Further, if subgroups are looking for people e.g. translator or timer, every fucking time are there people who say “I can’t do anything stated above, but I would QC if you look for some.”
That’s the same as saying “Sorry, I am stupid and can’t do anything, but please let me join your group.”
“Are people really that stupid?” I frequently ask myself..

What Lucipher said was pretty much like “I’d like to help you guys, but unfortunately I can’t.” That’s not really a bad thing to say, he’s showing that he supports the group. He’s not really saying he wants to join the group, but if he had the skills, he’d offer to help.
What you’re saying is like “LOL HAY HERD U GUISE NEED SUM EDITORS I DUNNO HOW BUT ILL DO IT IF YOU NEED SOMEONE.”

You know, your comma is uncalled-for and in the japanese alphabet there is no such thing as a ‘s’ in your case it would be ‘su’. Furthermore it is indeed spelled ‘wa’ but written ‘ha’ and I spoke of kana that comprehends katakana and hiragana.

To get back to your accusation, I have no intention of talking my way out of it. I just can’t stand people who think they got ‘game’ when all they got is half knowledge.
Especially you, if you want to write japanese then fucking write it right and secondly write it in kana or if you have guts in kanji.

While I know Commie is not a speedsub group, mostly because of the amount of shows you have to do, have you considered doing v0’s like you did in the past? It would be a great choice for the times of this when an editor is missing. Make a v0 release with Funi or CR subs, which can be quite acceptable at times, and release a tiny xdelta3 patch with the edited subs in a few days when the editor is back. This way most of us who are impatient, know enough japanese to be able to understand the dialogue, would be able to watch it with a good encode, and then get a better flowing(edited) version for archival in a few days later?
It balances the need for speed and the need for quality quite well and can satisfy both categories of leechers. Of course, I would only advocate such measures in case of extended delay such as a missing editor. I don’t mind waiting half a week for an episode, or even more, as long as episodes are released in a similar interval between each other.
