I disagree, I thought he did fine all things considered. I mean, what was everyone expecting? Someone who sounds the same? That was never gonna happen. I’m sure he’ll improve and grow on us over time.
I don’t think so. There’s really no reason to do that, especially since they already recast him. Plus, cutting him out of the show would definitely piss off a lot of fans.
I didn’t care for Ukai’s new voice actor either. I knew I’d be weirded out by whoever they picked, but I think they could have gone with someone who sounds closer to Kazunari Tanaka, like Kazuya Nakai. Or would he be too expensive?

over time? he’s only going to be in one more episode.
One more episode? Do you think this is the final season of Haikyuu!! or something? lol
It may be a while from now because there isn’t enough material to adapt but Haikyuu!! will almost certainly get more seasons.
i imagine they’d write him out of future seasons though

well him having a shitty voice actor pisses me off. anyway, the next arc is about the tokyo qualifiers, so he might not even have to show up.
After the third season, do you have any plans on starting the second season BDs? Oh, and of course, thanks for this!
yes

it hasn’t been that long since the previous guy died, so maybe they didn’t have much time to recast him.
