Wait, dumb question, but what’s important about Trigger? Is it an alternative revenue stream studio model, like herkz alluded to ad revenue? If so, that’s pretty sweet. Fuck BD sales as a series’ success metric; streaming ad-revenue would give a whole new life to the industry, and maybe even let good cult shows stay funded.
uhhhhh, no, i just mean our release is getting more downloads than the video gets views and i can’t see how they make money other than youtube ads, etc.

Trigger is a studio, and everyone has a huge boner over them because Imaishi works there now and they made a 10-second animation teaser for this year’s animator training project.
