    Thank you~

  2. The Speedwagon Foundation says:

Cheers, despite how much I love my eotena’s and Berserk movies, this is still the best Jap show running (or running again when they’re done making some retarded MMO animu).

  3. wot says:

were the new sounds in op in raws too or it was your idea?
can’t be arsed to look up another release

    • Xythar says:

Which option do you think involved the least effort? Hint: It’s that one.

      • wot says:

that rule of thumb didn’t seem to work on Kyojin on Eotenas’e Adventure Shingekiloo so I had to ask

  4. RDF2050 says:

    Dat the cars info dump

  5. Gyro says:

    Excellent. Thanks to everyone involved!

  6. dude says:

the video got a lot of lag in at least 2 parts, the cars infodump and one moment of shinny cars
sorry guys but what the hell? and yes, I updated my pc beforehand after it happened with caesar’s death

    • johnny_dickpants says:

      time to upgrade again

I’m still testing the limits of what I can and cannot do with gradients. Episode 20 I didn’t hold back on gradient so that is understandable (Still ran fine for me with xy-vsfilter). This episode I only used 4 pixel per strip gradient. which should not give you any lag if you have xy-vsfilter.

although that cars info dump was going to happen regardless. A 500 frame scene with that much info on it while zooming out? ggwp. I trimmed it as much as I could but that thing was gonna lag some people one way or another.

      • Anon says:

There are 54k lines in this .ass file. Haidara, please.

The 27k-line cars infodump nearly melted my i5 750 – it was going about as slow as it could and then crashed MPC when I tried to skip ahead. Though, the 20k-line “twang” mentioned above was rendered without issue. I mention the line counts because it really needs to be stated for emphasis.

I guess what I’m saying is: Haidara, please. Please.

        • herkz says:

          nope

        • Xythar says:

If you can typeset the infodump with fewer lines and have it not look like shit, be our guest.

          • Anon says:

My point is that there should be some measure of compromise. I’m not using the curseyoudaiz.jpg laptop, here.

            • herkz says:

              there is no compromise

either it looks right or it doesn’t

            • Xythar says:

What you’re seeing is the compromise. The first version was like 60,000 lines for that scene alone and even my i7 choked on it.

Like I said, if you know a better way, be our guest.

Sup 85893049. As I’ve said in my last comment, that info dump was unstoppable. I actually had cut some corners on it to stop it from hitting the estimated 66k lines that it would have given me. Getting it down as low as I did was still a challenge.

When you are given 33 signs and told they all have to fit into a slow-zooming 500 frame scene. you really only have 2 choices, either do it and lag everybody, or be gg and put it on the website.

I do understand where you’re coming from though. If there were a way to do it which didn’t fry every computer it came into contact with, so long as it isn’t \an8 I would have done it.

However I do have to thank you for verifying that 4 pixel per strip gradient plays fine for i5 computers.

It hardly melted on my laptop with an i5-2520m, at max using a little over a full core.

      • lae says:

if it’s any consolation, the cars infodump worked perfectly with libass.

  7. P says:

    O kurwa, finally.
    ~regards

  8. G-0ff says:

Commie’s secret plot to destroy all the world’s CPUs enters its final phase. Also they did a pretty good job subtitlin’ jojo, as usual.

  9. Atvaark says:

i wonder, if the show was encoded in 8bits instead and had the video card take the video decoding part of the load, would a cpu be able to cope with the subtitles?

    • herkz says:

it wouldn’t really change much. also, the file would be considerably bigger

  10. Shawn263241 says:

    Thank you!
