Is there any connection with this and the original last exile? And btw, if all those moon shaped things are exiles, why the hell we are calling this anime “last exile?!
its several years later as is depicted by dio being older.
the first episode has the exile return.
there are two powerblocks again (with the pirates being a neutral element), and by the amount and different design of the moon pieces I guess the first exile was a beach head and these ones, as hinted by the dialog in ep two, are the ‘final’ colonizing ships used in an exodus from earth.
the people already living on the planet seem to not appreciate the new colonists…
This show is AWESOME. Waited 8 years for this :)
Definitely my favourite this season (i’m also following Guilty Crown, Mirai Nikki and UN-GO).
I hope the plot and animation keeps as interesting and exciting as it is so far… Judging from these 2 episodes, the quality promises to be up there with the first series.
