Hello. If you’re one of the people who obsesses over video quality and other related autisms, this release is not for you and don’t even bother complaining because your comment will never see the light of day. On the other hand, if you realize subtitled anime is also about quality subtitles, this release may be to your enjoyment.

And before you ask, I won’t be subbing the series. I don’t like it nearly as much as I like the movie.

    I don’t remember the last time I watched this movie so I was waiting for a good BD release to rewatch it, thanks herkz.

    I suggest you to use THAT shot of Shinji as a pic for the post though (pls do it).

    Thanks for this. The only subtitles I could find for this movie were ripped from Manga’s terrible R1 DVD release, and the one mistake they bothered fixing was Misato saying Adam was born from Lilith just like mankind.

        Oh well. If I do remember correctly, Death is more abridge of important scenes from the TV episodes (minus the the psychological humdrum of the last two episodes). Rebirth covers the rest of the abridge/recap and add the events that leads to EoE.

    I’m not obsessed but rather curious, is this the “remastered” blu ray that was just released? If so I wish studio khara had done more.
