If i recall correctly p4 ep 19 had a bunch of signs to TL. That combined with all the work already put into it being lost I doubt anyone is happy they have to start over.
I actually wondered about that line when watching it earlier but I’m so used to Rise using “senpai” to refer exclusively to Yu that I could’t think of an alternative interpretation for it at the time.
