Finally! It’s out. Without watching the raw, I’m guessing new OP and ED. And, half of the story is about the Team Shana herp derp about how huge is Snake of Festival is and the rest of Team Yuuji all psych up to the battle. derp.
Wow, the animation quality is horrible. What are they doing with their budget? I’m sure they have one, considering the popularity of the franchise. I mean, I’ve seen better animation in flash on Newgrounds than this episode full of nothing but panning slideshows with sound, and by better I mean… there is no animation to begin with, just still images, so it’s pretty easy to be better. This is supposed to be an epic battle, and they blew their entire animation budget on the talking head scenes in other episodes, apparently. I guess they are depending on fans of the light novels to be so excited over it that it blinds them to the crap nonexistent amount of effort they put into animating this, so they can cash in on the franchise name no matter what they do.
Leave it to JC Staff. They like to expand things to 24-episodes format even the series can be wrap up much earlier. I will bang my head if they opt for a flashback arc after they are safety retreat from the battlefield. :/
