I take back everything bad I ever said about Strike Witches. This is essentially Strike Witches with all of the (small amounts) of plot, character development, and dialogue taken out and replaced with crotch shots.

      >implying strike witches wasn’t replete with crotch shots

      • Doogie says:

Definitely it was, but Strike Witches also had some redeeming qualities. It was crotch shots and also some interesting plot points, the characters were at least somewhat developed (except for the clusterfuck of season 2). Vividred so far is crotch shots and also moar crotch shots.

Also why does Red+Blue docking form (Violet?) have boob plate thruster vents?

I don’t get it, what are you trying to say here? The JK encode is smoothed as fuck and lost a bunch of details (see: the jet trails, clouds, and shading on the Alone).

As far as I can tell, this show has more plot in its first two episodes than Strike Witches had over its entire run. Admittedly, that’s not saying much, since Strike Witches’ plot could fit in a teaspoon.

Basically, they took Nanoha and tried to brush it up with Strike Witches fanservice. And as it turns out, if you take one really good show and try to mix it with an awful show, what you end up with is most likely going to be a mediocre show. Mind you, we can’t really say much about the plot yet. We’ll have to see what Fate… ahem, I mean, Rei is going to add to it. It might still turn out decent.
