Why Devil Survivor 2 is always the last thursday show to be released? I mean, it used to be more quickly before, and now we only get this show at saturdays. Is it because you guys thinks it’s a boring animation or something?
I have done a small review of pros and cons for Commie and FFF versions of this series. This is just my personal criticism, in hopes that both teams can learn from and fix their mistakes. Thanks for everything!
FFF
Pros – 1.Smaller file size without dropping quality, 2. Accurate subs, 3. Accurate romaji in OP & ED themes.
Cons – 1. Adding own phrases to substitute others (e.x. “Suave the Old Spice Man”), 2. The occasional inaccurate subs (“Hiki-gay instead of Hikki-kaeru[Hikki-frog])
Commie
Pros – 1.Accurate subs
Cons – 1. Larger file size for same quality, 2. Various typos, 3. Various translations inaccuracies, 4. No romaji in OP & ED themes
First of all, I am entitled to my opinion. Second, I don’t think a grammatically incorrect person named something as ridiculous as “johnny_dickpants” tell me im “doing fuck all to back it up” whatever that means.
Sorry Commie, I have really enjoyed your past releases but if this is the reaction I get when I make a few criticizing statements, then I don’t think I will be downloading from you anytime soon.

These things are not opinions (well, the mistranslations could be). The only thing that can be construed as opinion is your hilarious shit about how not having romaji is a net negative.
You don’t get to walk in here and say things are wrong, then go >m-muh opinions when you’re called out for not backing up your statements.

If you don’t understand johnny’s post above then I suspect some of the things you think are typos or incorrect are just colloquialisms that you don’t understand. There’s not much we can do about that – we expect a certain level of English familiarity in our viewers.

Contrary to some of the comments here, you are indeed free to post your reviews/opinions/whatever. In the same vein though, people are free to ignore them if you don’t have anything to back your claims up.
You said our release has ‘various translation inaccuracies’. In that case, give me examples. As the translator for this show, I’m very interested in finding out what you think these errors are.
*sigh* Whatever, I guess I didn’t give a good enough review with specific examples. It was just my thinking aloud. I really mean no disrespect to either group. I just want this to end. I got angered by the slander that was just tossed my way and typed some things I shouldn’t of. I don’t want to be on bad terms with either group. So I hope that this sh**storm will cease and we can forget all this ever happened. I sincerely apologize to those who I have offended and retract any of the negative things I have said. I respect both groups for their hard work and can’t wait for the episodes yet to come.
