Cliffhangered at the exact same point in the manga. The exposition was a thing of beauty. I was afraid the anime would not do the manga justice, but I am glad there are still competent directors in the business (and seriously superb casting).

Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole!

What the heck did the editor do at around 14:27?! What she’s saying doesn’t make sense!

@V, what’s your confusion with the 14:27 vignette’s dialogue between Aika & Yoshino? Aika’s line simply says, well if you don’t like the implications of Hamlet applied to our lives, then why don’t I switch to quoting Tempest, a tale of Shakepearean revenge executed not through violent murderous tragedy but rather masterful manipulation behind the scenes to force an optimal, logically-consistent resolution. I agree editor-kun might have been able to make that contrast more clear, but there’s minimal time/space to embed such nuance into so few words, so a large degree of the storytelling implications and references are obscured. Thanks Commie for doing this show when no one else is!
