My loli girlfriend didn’t know that when this was airing
>loli girlfriend
>watches anime
<_<
It’s pretty much appropriate only for teenagers.
It was written by a twat for twats. Nobody should watch it.
wrong. sad!
True. Happy!
I didn’t like this show particularly much when it was airing, a bit too much drama and too much focus on who fucked whom.
I felt none of the characters were really able to resolve any drama since they refused to simply talk about it like normal people are supposed to do and clear up any misunderstanding that usually create drama.
But for them the drama is the point. Their lives are so boring that if there wasn’t any drama, they’d just fall in depression.
I agree drama is required for the plot to happen/move on, but having melodrama that goes on for the entire series just because the main character refuses to face her issue head on and take direct actions to resolve it even when she knows it is all over is just plain boring and rather pointless if the characters aren’t interesting enough for the viewer to get invested in.
Oops, that post ended up terrible in terms of flow and sentence structuring. I forgot to proofread my own comment, but it should still be somewhat readable.
Sorry!

Compare Tsuki ga Kirei. The plot was fairly grounded overall, with the drama being fairly light and relatively harmless.
The drama in it primarily serving as a vessel to advance the plot and romance.
Misunderstandings still happened but characters still took some steps to confront each other to resolve their issues like reasonable human beings despite the MCs both being introverts.
Tsuki ga Kirei is by no means a perfect show, but it serves as a good example on how you can write drama without excessive melodramatic shenanigans.
Although, it feels a bit like I’m starting to compare apples to bananas now since Tsuki ga Kirei is primarily a romance show with drama elements compared to Kuzu no Honaki’s drama with romance elements.
Just my opinions, though.
how can i compare it to an anime i haven’t watched?
