    1ST!

Thanks so much! Have a great night!

Isn’t it Jersey Club and not Sweats Club?

    • Xythar says:

ジャージ in Japanese is a loan word that originates from the English word “jersey”, but it doesn’t refer to what we would commonly consider a jersey in English. In English “jersey” refers to a sweater or cardigan, whereas in Japanese ジャージ refers to a tracksuit or sweats. Hence, Sweats Club.

Therefore, calling it the Jersey Club is technically not accurate.

Commie is so shit. x.x being trollfags with this “Sweats Club” bs. Just put Jersey like the other translators.

    • herkz says:

They’re not wearing jerseys, though. More like track suits, actually…

    • Xythar says:

So you want us to put an incorrect translation just because everyone else is doing it?

Fortunately, you can just demux the script, find/replace “Sweats” to “Jersey” and remux if it bothers you so much. Takes 2 minutes in mkvextract/mkvmerge, so you could have already done it in the time you’ve spent being a whiny child on the internet.

      • Orcus says:

Maybe the club is a reference to Jersey Boys and they’re planning a performance of the musical.

0:48 – what the fuck is wrong with tokyo mx if they censor THAT?!
They’re worse than some u.s. faggots being “repulsed” by a bit of exposed back…

  5. PAnZuRiEL says:

I haven’t noticed any issues with the TL in the previous episodes, so why are there so many errors in this one? New translator or something?

  6. Azure Neptune says:

    Alright, fine.

  7. pandaman says:

Jersey is ENGLISH and as such needs no “translation”. It is used properly in reference to sports attire. I am a U.S. English speaking native and have grown up with this use. Doubts? Just Google “sports jersey” for all kind of reference.

    • Xythar says:

Google it yourself and tell me if it looks to you like they’re wearing jerseys in the show.

  8. johnny_dickpants says:

Guess what comes up? Not what they’re wearing. They’re wearing sweats. In Japan, mansion means apartment. The more you know.

    Uncensored version please =)
