This is what aired this week instead of episode 7. As you can tell by the filename, this is based on the BD release from a few years ago, not today’s TV broadcast (or CR’s video, which is the same as that). Said TV broadcast included an intro and also the preview that was supposed to be at the end of episode 6. If you care about that stuff, feel free to download some other release (not that any exist).

Shogi God, Sacred Dragon, King: these are parodies of actual shogi title tournaments. The only real one is the “Master” tournament
Shogi Checkmate Problems: see here. Aniplex completely mistranslated this somehow. I’m honestly not even sure what they were going for. Maybe they misread 詰 as 誌????
Also, it might be useful to read this page about how the shogi professional ranking system works.
