Psycho-Pass BD Batches

720p AAC | 1080p FLAC | Patches

And here are the BD batches. A handful of episodes have been updated to fix extremely minor consistency issues that I doubt anyone else cares about, but if you want to update, simply download the patches from the link above and run the .bat file appropriate to your resolution.

It’s been a long road, but it was a lot of fun to work on. Special thanks to torchlight for QC, unanimated for TS assistance, Devana for additional feedback, and Fleppensteyn for uploading volumes 4-8 when no one else would.

Encoder who? Flep? And since when is he in Commie?

    • Xythar says:

The encoder was me. And no, he’s not, but credit where credit’s due.

    • Fleppensteyn says:

The only thing I did was buy and upload the BDs, I’m far too busylazy to do any encoding these days.
Thanks for the thanks though, you are very welcome.

      • Hajile-Haji says:

Might I ask what you used to rip the BDs with?

        • herkz says:

a bd drive and any number of programs, such as anydvd

        • Fleppensteyn says:

          Let’s be specific…
An LG BH10LS38 BD rewriter and I have an AnyDVD HD license.
AnyDVD is the most effortless way to rip or watch BDs directly on my computer (in MPC-HC) without having to worry about stuff like region coding. (I live in Europe(region 2) but a decent chunk of my collection is region 1)

Thanks for the info guys, I’ve used things like MakeMKV but I was curious about what you pros used. ;)

  2. Xikarra says:

  5. Lann094 says:

    The much awaited batch arrives.

Thanks for your work, Xythar. I look forward to reading your words.

  6. BigBadBorg says:

Could someone please tell me if there are any new scenes, or was the TV-screening censored (if I remember correctly the show was pretty bloody)? Or is the “only” better thing the supreme video and audio quality?

  7. evilryu says:

The batches arent working, i tried putting them in the same folder and running them but nothin happens.

Any method that i should try to run them ?

  9. bblox says:

  10. Damien027 says:

I remember giving this a pass when it was out, will check it out now since I just heard someone say it was made by the same guy who wrote Puella Magi Madoka Magica & Fate/Zero and the reviews look to be high on MAL, thanks!

That pic done by mangaka of hitman reborn? If it’s just normal guns they’re holding, I might even start to think this is reborn…

  13. Hajile-Haji says:

    Thanks a lot guys!

  14. Schezza says:

Commie, I hate you guys. I just watched it yesterday and 2 days ago. Renamed them as well.

had to dl old volumes to get their names and make a rename batch. so lame :p

While Bulk Rename has an awesome batch copyfunction, it doesn’t have an exact batch pastefunction.

  15. MrEded says:

Are you Commie going to release the BDs of Attack on Titan? It really would be nice.

  16. Hurvilo says:

Have PIG changed a lot in the blu-rays (eg. cleaned up the sloppier episodes)?

  17. BigBadBorg says:

@herkz Thank you for the reply! And I totally forgot: Thank you for your hard work!

  18. Ovus says:

Will you upload the V2s on xdcc?

  19. fohfuu says:

Do you know if the 1080p is an upscale?

  20. shinmeiryu says:

    thanks to upload this anime.
    its very good.
i just want to ask you guys why do you don’t give karoke in op and ed.
if you give karoke to anime, maybe i will take every your upload anime.

  21. Dusty says:

Thanks for all the hard work!! I was so relieved you guys were doing the BDs!! I downloaded this ages ago but didn’t have time to watch them until now. Sad to say, the font is an eyesore.
I checked the first 6 and last 3 episodes to no avail… Eye cancer abounds. TT.TT

Could you tell me what fonts were used, please? *puppy eyes* If they’re free fonts, I can just download and install them myself. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, I’ll just go cry and redownload the TV batch. TT.TT

    • herkz says:

uh, that definitely shouldn’t be happening. maybe you need to update cccp or something.

  22. Dusty says:

I’ve got the april 20 update installed already…. Maybe I should reinstall it?

This isn’t the first time it’s happened though… It seems faster just to download the fonts than to try and fix what’s wrong in the first place. *shrug*

PS/ The typesetting seems alright (e.g. the episode titles look fine)… just the OP/ED and main script are Arial as far as I can tell.

    • herkz says:

yeah, i think that happens because they’re otf fonts, but you have a new enough version of cccp so i have no idea.

anyway, i suggest using mkvcleaver to extract the fonts.

      • Dusty says:

I was a little worried about installing stuff on my toaster, but I found the portable versions for mkvtoolnix and mkvcleaver… and it works perfectly!!

Yay, no more eye cancer!! And no more bugging busy fansubbers for fonts… XD

Cheers, herkz! You’re my hero! ^_−☆
