Yowamushi Pedal BD Batch
The patches are all minor script fixes/changes. I included all the extras so I’d have less torrents to seed.
Hopefully, I don’t have to go back and v3 anything when I do the BDs for season two.
Movie if it’s uploaded, OVA eventually maybe, S2 BDs when they’re uploaded.

I hope you guys subbed the pre air and the tour event though.. I’m waiting for one… and still not getting any.

So you’re saying either of those subs are good? Not to mention I doubt they used the same terminology as us (because we don’t use the same terminology for some stuff as CR as they mistranslated some things).
Eh, doesn’t really matter what I say, what qualifies as “good subs” for me is probably different to whatever you’d qualify it as. It’s moreso that I think it’s kinda humorous that you’d add more ovas/stuff to whatever else you’re working on when there’s two (probably) passable alternatives. Well, one’s hardsubbed and at least has serious grammar problems, and I haven’t taken a look at the other yet.
As for terminology, I haven’t seen what you guys used yet (was waiting for the BD batch), but I think one or the other probably went the same way terminology-wise as you guys.
So you have no idea and just said that? And I seriously would drop it if it wasn’t some random group I’ve never heard of and probably has no idea what they’re doing.
If I can have a say in this please. Well, let’s be honest, neither of these two fansubbers (can’t be considered groups cause they don’t have a strong reputation or constant releases) have done an amazing job on releasing the OVA.
First ofall, like you said, Sleeping Dragons did the OVA hardsubbed from a crappy source from Tumbrl and only did this so at least we can see the OVA subbed (nobody had released the actual ISO of the OVA until some time ago when StaticX actually contributed to the series by buying the actual DVD). So yeah, definitely NO archive material.
And as for the second fansubber, Nekoshock, my guess is that a guy that really liked the series and got a hold of the ISO wanted to experiment and make his own release of the OVA surpassing the previous one. Imo suftsubbed is better than hardsubbed, with visually better quality (DVD>Tumbrl) but still miles away from an archive release.
That is why I cross my fingers and really hope that Commmie who have done an extraordinary job on the series so far will pick this up so they can do a pro release for this rare piece of work!! :)
So to sum up, I want to thank Commie for all those amazing releases and to please you to not drop the OVA and the movie cause this series deserves the best and it gets the best of it from you guys!!! :) :)
On another note, does anyone know if any of the BDs of season 2 have been uploaded yet?? On my count there should be 2 of them that have been released.

The guy uploading the BDs for me said he’ll get the first BD of s2 in a few weeks.
Just something really minor, the .bat file in the patches is missing the reference to yowamushi17v2.
Should be fixed now.
Yo! Not sure if I messed up or anything, but the CRC’s don’t seem to match up after running the patches.
