  1. Boon too says:

Stick to V1. You guys are only good as a joke group anyways.

    • Kammerj4ger says:

Thats kind of unfair! Commiesubs is not the best subgroup out there, but the guys are Farfar away from being a “Joke group”!!!

  2. MacKnight says:

Less german ffs, perfer no german at all…
make 1 with german and 1 completely english…

    • ZeroX says:

      i totally agree
make two versions if possible :p

    • masterjedi says:

as someone who lives in germany it is verry confusing and sometimes dificult to follow

    • cia11 says:

This will be the best (version with german and totaly english – I can’t understand what they talk abaut in german :/), You can always add two diffrent subtitles in one video.

  3. overander says:

For me less or no german preferred.

  4. Gigi says:

Now, now. I got the v1 and I have to say it indeed is understandable.

    But.

To make everyone happy, why don’t you release a single MKV with both the German-Wunderbar subtitle and the I-Love-English one leaving the final user to chose without having to download two different MKVs?

  5. Steve says:

    I agree…
I am german end even I find it weird^^

  6. airco says:

    >Germanfied script was muxed by accident.

    ( ゚∀゚)アハハ八八ノヽノヽノヽノ \ / \/ \

  7. zeb says:

Well it appears that all the girls are Japanese natives and don’t seem to be speaking in a ‘cool’ fashion.
    Rather no German at all.

  8. IppE says:

I’d like to have the german subs because I’m a huge nazi and stuff.

  9. Des says:

Yes, don’t mix in german please.
    JA is enough.

  10. 16 says:

I only saw the v2, and it was fun. However, I can see it getting old after a while.

  11. That Guy says:

    Also, It’s Matilda, not Mathilda.

  12. Durahl says:

Native German speaker here… Please no more German subbing, it makes me cry to see such an abomination.

I mean… It’s not like they’re even using the German terms while holding a conversation so why would anyone actually do something like this?

Other than that, many t(h)anks for the release.

  13. Nuserame says:

… wow, history just got taken up the ass hard.

Also they dont speak a word of german, best left translated english.

  14. Nikolauss says:

Make a v3 with no German at all.
I am fluent in both since childhood, yet it bothers me to see just random German phrases thrown in there. I understand to use it for names, panzer markings and mandatory expressions, but leave it at that.

    • AnimeWatcher says:

I agree. Even in version 2 (which is supposed to be less German) the words that are spoken in Japanese is replaced by German instead of English. The scene in the infirmary is an example of where German was used, and shouldn’t have been.

  15. skyleo says:

Well That Guy, Mathilda is more used in germany.

  16. hokkyokuguma says:

    Haha

I’m from germany and it was funny ^^ but i like it less with less germans words.

  17. Anonymous says:

Please never mix different languages in one sentence. My autism can’t take it.

  18. Someone says:

Probably wouldn’t even bother to pick up without that v1 script. Great idea.
Do you have native german speakers working on this as well?

  19. Niggz says:

    Less German, more Russki…

  20. anon says:

I will wait for v3 without german at all (names etc can stay but not conversations). If there will be no v3 I will just wait for other group or drop this show.

  21. Quikbeam says:

I have to agree with the no German, while i do appreciate the subs, i didnt actually hear them speaking German, I would rather have an all one language translation.

    • moca says:

amen. As someone who took grade 10 German classes a long time ago, I am unfamiliar with half the words used in the v2 (which supposedly has less German). The only reason I was able to understand all of it is because I have heard most of the japanese phrases that you “ger-translated” so much that I know what they are in english anyway.

  22. anon says:

lil to no german at all plz

  23. digritz says:

    Nein German!
Make this 1st episode a one trick pony. As for suggestions for multi-sub release, shelve that too. Do not add more work where it’s clearly not needed.

  24. anon says:

    Unwatchable.

English or no subs at all.

  25. anon says:

stop whining. This anime would be generic moe-trash without a decent plot if they removed the germanified-script. With it, it’s a hilarious comedy.

If you disagreed, get in your Panzers and fight… Schweinehunde!

  26. Germanguy says:

Well, less German. better no German at All. You should use German, when they “try” to speak German. Because the Anime has “panzer” in the Title, you dont need to force German into your Subs, where there is no German

  27. Panzertruppen says:

The German was discordant. Make it easy on yourselves and keep it out, thanks!

  28. Maro says:

    English please..
I thought they’d be talking many german words in the audio, then it’d be debateable. But they aren’t talking german at all! Makes no sense to throw in random language just because of the title. Noone threw in random language for Puella Magi Madoka Magica either.

  29. Schezza says:

No German. I hate german. I’m Austrian btw. :P

  30. poto says:

Have you ever watched [gg] version of Hidan no Aria?
They startet to put japanese words into the scrip out of pure boredom (or stupidity, idk). In the end, the whole thing was unwatchable.

It was a nice joke for the first 30 seconds. Thats all.

Guys, i stopped watching german subs except a few series i translated myself.
Please keep it in one language and use german only for things like names, panzer markings and mandatory expressions.

Otherwise, it will be annoying to watch for those who undestand both languages and unwatchable for all others.

    • Xythar says:

Man, those subs were the only thing that made that show worth watching.

      • Kirby_422 says:

I’m still waiting for them to release the last 2 episodes of [gg]aria. We need to see how they fight vlad while turning him on and hitting his bondage wounds, and how the borg fit into this equation.

      • poto says:

I know that the show was crap. But there is no need to make it worse.

Besides, whats the point to repeat the same joke one episode after another?

If i dont like it, i drop it and use my time to do something better. Its not like gg doesnt know how to drop shows.

In any case, its an old and boring joke to mix up the languages. Even gotwoot’s idea to exchange the op and ed music in one episode was funnier. But only for 20seconds. The shitstorm for this musicjoke went on for several days.

    • Phantom says:

Yeah, it was unwatchable because of different word order. It isn’t a concern here.

  31. KingFisher says:

I don’t like the german in it. IT makes it confusing. You should only use german words when the characters are actually speaking german words. Leave everything else English. Could you release a version 3?

    • Xythar says:

I don’t know why people keep asking for no German at all when it was never presented as an option.

  32. KingFisher says:

I think most of us here would prefer you DON’T use German.

  33. mszynisz says:

I prefer no German at all. It is very very confusing, especially if you don’t know German.

Anyway, good work on the subs :)

  34. anon says:

Only fucking racists would dislike the german subs. Keep them coming-I can’t watch this shitty-ass show without pretending it’s about a hypothetical german-conquered japan in the third reich.

  35. IZEROII says:

Way less freaking German. By way less, I would prefer none. It completely conflicts with what you are hearing. Come on now. Don’t go down that path…

  36. Fred says:

No German for me ok? Thanks very much.

  37. oh lawd says:

Is it so much to ask that fansubbers just translate a show?

If there were a ton of groups on this it would be one thing, but at this point it’s either watch subs with random German shit thrown in, or we can’t watch it at all. Even the raws are better than this.

  38. Rotkäppchen says:

    Please, keep the German.
It’s the only reason to watch such a shitty show.

  39. Rotkäppchen says:

    Please, keep the German.
It’s the only reason to watch such a shitty show.

  40. missingnoforce says:

Meh, random german stuff actually made me laugh more then the plot… (FYI, im native german).
But anyway, multiscript sounds best, as there seem to be people wanting english only scripts, german-thrown-in-to-make-people-laugh ones as well as a few guys like me who dont prefer either (as i dont have a problem watching either type)

  41. Phantom says:

German version saves this anime. I really suck at German, but this version (v1) is easy to understand. I’m from Poland.

  42. Fadeway says:

I know both German and English as a non-native, and appreciated the bits in v1.

  43. ¨¨¨¨¨¨öü䨨¨¨¨¨ says:

    Doppelkupplungsgetriebe.

  44. ¨¨¨¨¨¨öü䨨¨¨¨¨ says:

    Doppelkupplungsgetriebe.

  45. Mathes says:

    Best trollsubs in years.
I’m German and found the v1 hilarious as fuck. I sure hope there will be more of this.

  46. Rally says:

You refuse to use honourifics, but will mix random German words in where they aren’t needed? Lame.

  47. Anne Onymous says:

Just include multiple sub tracks. Problem solved.

  48. AnimeWatcher says:

I prefer version 2. The characters are speaking Japanese when the German words show up (in version 1) which doesn’t seem logical. If the characters were actually speaking in German (the words that show up in the subtitles) then it would make since for it to be there, but since they’re not it seems out of place for the German to be there. It also makes following the discussion more difficult. While some of the German words like the words for yes, no, and hello may be recognizable not many others are to most people.

  49. nEmai says:

I’m german native and I find the “germanified” version horrible. It’s somewhat confusing and sometimes really sounds “google translated”.

Plus I do not get at all, why in first place you did this – the single German word I found in the spoken version was “Panzer” – so I don’t get, why to use all this German for an English fansubgroup ?? oO…

    • herkz says:

      For fun.

      • Miporin says:

If you don’t understand german is not fun at all however. :)

        • nEmai says:

          It isn’t even fun when you understand – sorry to say so. ^^;
It’s just kinda really misplaced – but thats just my opinion.

Going to go for the “English” version.

        • Quikbeam says:

I understand German, and can speak it fairly well, even with that, I still didnt like it. Mixing langauges like that doesnt really work. It feels awkward.

  50. Miporin says:

Sorry commie but if you don’t make a V3 without the german i will drop your release.
i know is for fun but since i collect this show i prefer to understand oerfectly the text. :)
