A few minutes into v2 I had to double-check that I was really watching the v2. I’d prefer the German to be saved for when/if they actually speak German. Thanks anyway though!

Even though I thought the occasional German in the casual conversation were nice, I have to say that I would prefer it if you limit the German to when they speak German or you translate a technical term that doesn’t really exists e.g. senshadou -> panzerfahren is nice.

As a german I would like to voice my opinion as well.
I have barely watched 3 minutes and I can’t go on.
Not only is it annoying to see german words used with english sentence structure, some words weren’t even translated right.
I consider the inclusion of German words and phrases into the translation nothing more than deliberate Translation Inflation; meaning, the translators were/are arrogantly presuming that this will serve to better the show in some capacity, despite the fact that I heard not one word of spoken German in the ten minutes of it that I watched, before I turned it off and deleted it from my computer.
In the future, please refrain from trying to doctor-up and spice-up a show… it’s really a waste of your time.
Maybe HorribleSubs will pick this up and sub it, with less arrogance and presumptuousness on their part.

I’m sure this means that the translator is a charming guy with a great sense of humor. Unfortunately, I get this stuff for the anime, not the translator.
As a German, I found the usage of German words to be absolutely hilarious and want to see more of it. It greatly contributed to the entertainment value of the show.
Sadly, it seems like the community as a whole is against it, though I can see why it would be annoying for people that don’t understand the German language in the slightest.
I am all for at least releasing two versions, if it isn’t too much of a bother (which it probably would be).
The first release was great, keep doing stuff like that.

I’ve not even watched the show yet and I tend to not even care about moe (also known as herzfeuer), but this is panzerherzfeuer so I’m checking it out.
That said, what exactly are people not understanding? If it’s stuff like the word Panzer or terms like Panzerkampf instead of sensha-do, or “ja”, then ignore them because that’s some real entry-level shit for anyone interested in tanks.

While it’s not incredibly bad, it’s still very awkward to read. I’m sure someone’s said this already, but the wording sound weird, and I heard no German actually spoken, so it was just weird to be reading German when it wasn’t necessary. It would look and sound much better if you use the German when there is actual German spoken, with a translation note of course.
You guys are really just going over the top. I understand that “There are two German words in the title,” and it would be cool if there were German text in the script too, but I think it would be best if you just kept it simple, and only use the German text when needed.
Until then, I’ll just be watching from Hiryuu. Sorry, Commie ;~;

I’m guessing I’m the only one who enjoyed the inclusion of german. For shows like this, there’s not anything complex to understand. It’s like adding a little extra fun to a already fun show. Even if it was just for this episode, thanks for the good time Commie.
